If you no longer write checks, what do you use for a "check register"...

...to keep track of your account for the stuff you used to write checks for?

I use an Excel spreadsheet that keeps my "checkbook" balanced. And I have expenses laid out for the whole year so it's a budget as well.

I used to use an Excel spreadsheet, but now I dont keep up with anything. Just check my acct online and make sure all the transactions that come through are legit.

I try to pay for most everything (including bills that allow it) on CC, and then just one payment to CC through checking

My bank’s on-line app. I’m 39 years old and have never kept a check register.

I put everything on my credit card and pay it off at the end of the month.

I used to have a 7 tab Excel s/s where I tracked and budgeted. When I took the new job, money was a non-issue, so I stopped tracking. I monitor my online account for fraud these days.
Not a subtle brag, just don't balance my account anymore.

i don’t see the pint in using other apps or programs for your account.

Every single thing i use on my debit card or credit card is literally lined out under my account.

It tells you what you have spent and what you have left.

Why would there be a need for anything else?
