I think you're also forgetting, as well as what was mentioned earlier, that these people are known for a reason. They have ushered in a new age of technology, own a local favorite sports team (or play on it), or in general have done something to earn that money.

You on the other hand have done nothing to earn it, and are significantly more vulnerable than them. They aren't attacked on a daily basis because they contribute something to society that everyone enjoys. You contribute nothing. You would be the biggest target imaginable.

This is retar...... WTF?

Heirs to Coors & Henekin have been kidnapped .

Patty Heasrt (media Tycoons), John Paul Getty .etc....these are just a few of the Americans kidnapped from ransoms.

Sure, but if someone found out the name of the LLC, they could just look it up through the state and find out your name, your registered agent's name, and the registered agent's address.

did you even read what I was responding to? The person I responded to made the argument that you wouldn't be attacked because other (famous) people with tons of money aren't attacked when they go out to eat, walk, etc.

I'm not saying it hasn't happened to anyone nimwit, I'm just saying that you would be more vulnerable than those people.

Calm down.

Both in Baton Rouge and where I am now there are a number of families that are worth in the high hundreds of millions if not over a billion dollars, everyone knows who they are, where they live, what they look like. Their kids go to school, they eat out, go to shops and stores, basically do every thing a ordinary person does and without a security detail. Bill Gates could not be more well known, my son who lives in the Redmond WA area has seen him and his family doing normal family crap on numerous occasions.

That is good and it is likely that whomever wins this lottery fortune won't be kidnapped. Does that mean you wouldn't have fears for the safety of your children?

What if I told you about a past lottery winner that was killed for his money? Would that be disconcerting to you if you were to also win?
