If you have a COVID outbreak in your household, why tell anyone?

#1 - Seeing as how this is pretty much an endemic what diff does it make?

#2 - We've proven we can't do anything about this virus, virus gonna do what virus do

#3 - The CDC and the recommendations are obviously wild guesses, why not just rely on good old fashion situational judgment?

Why does HR, the neighbors, teammates, etc need to know? Seems like all you stand to do is receive negative outcomes by telling anyone at all ? If anyone is fevering, they will be at home if for no other reason than they don't feel good...

Arguing this with the wife now

She had it I caught it and both over it in a matter of 24-30 hours. She wanted me to get tested other than the at home one we had. I said what difference does it make they don’t give you any medicine you are just padding their numbers

If you miss a day much less a week of school they demand a covid test for you to return or to even let you turn in work.

My teenage son tells me today he thinks he had it last week. Didn’t want to tell us because he didn’t want to miss school or social stuff.

it’s way more fun to have it, not tell anyone, get as many people sick as possible, then go around telling everyone what bullshite Covid is etc.

Pretty much, what majority of this board does anyway

That time has passed homie.
We all got it late in the summer. Missed work, missed school, stayed home, got the ribbon and all of that.

Covid really does kick some folks' arse. If you know someone who might be at higher risk potentially, it's a good idea to stay away from them.
