Seriously. I mean I understand ragging on the state, but you sound like a bitter ex wife still pissed your former husband banged your sister.
GTFO if it makes you that miserable. I don’t think I’ve ever read a positive post from you about this place. Maybe the problem isn’t all the state. Maybe some of it is on you.
You are wrong. ALL of it is him
I have been to approx 25 states, and i could make a case for any of them to be complete shitholes or complete paradises. It is what you make it.

Born and raised in the Acadiana area. I'd probably go back if I had a job that paid what I make in BR.

CENLA. Specifically Woodworth. Lots of "tourism" money
I get the sarcasm but what tourism in Woodworth?

Objective answer is, Southeast. Easy. Anyone saying anything different is a homer.

Judging by his post history, I'd say he's one of those know-it-alls in his early 20's. Probably can't move cause he's either living at home or on the parents dime.

Don't know for sure but I think he's referring to the fact Woodworth cops (literally only have two of them btw) mercilessly pull people over and charge outrageous fines for stupid shite.

Southeast or Cenla.
Its a tough one.
SE obviously because of the water play. Where else in the U.S. can you freshwater fish, saltwater fish, marsh fish, swamp fish, shrimp, crab, crawfish, duck hunt and gator hunt all within an hours drive?
Cenla because the hills are beautiful and its all National Forest and its still near SE LA.
Can I live in SE and have a cabin in Cenla?

Southeast in the boot.
Somewhere between Belle Chasse and Venice. All the fishing, hunting, and good ole boys to crack a brew with.

I would probably live near Ruston (college town with activities and not too far from Monroe/West Monroe for major shopping).

Sucks how flat LA is. Northern MS and northern AL is much prettier
