Holy crap, I completely forgot about this movie. I remember a scene where he has his arms spread out trying to hold up two buckets filled with water(?), and he finds a mental state where he can sustain it. Something like that.

He lived with his wife in Redwood, north of Vicksburg. I found out that he had moved away some years back. I think it said he died in Asheville, NC.
