If you had a free year and 80k what would you do?

Im trying to decide what to do in 2018 as it looks like work might slow down. I've got around 80k of play money and trying to do something memorable. Limitless possibilities. My short list includes
Boating the Great Loop
Hiking the PCT
or just stay in Asia and play golf and chase women. Maybe take a motorcycle thru Siam.
Move to Medellin, Colombia and learn Spanish
Anyways what would you do, I'm interested in hearing any and all ideas.

Invest the 80k and make it work for me.
Use the free time to develop another marketable skill that I enjoy, and then make that work for me.
Use that skill to make a livable income, one that allows me to be my own boss.
And use that to travel places, to market my skill in exotic lands and experience exotic women.

I know a guy who did just that and traveled around the world, starting in Europe, going east, and ending up back in the US. Spent a few weeks in every country he went to. He did airbnb and it cost him a lot less than 80k.

Beer always tastes better after a hard week of work to me. Same with vacation days.

2018 is the 50th anniversary of the National Scenic and Historic Trails Act. I would hike the Appalachian Trail. PCT would be my second choice.

Iceland. Ice hotel.
Go surfing on bondi beach.
Visit carnival in Brazil.
Snowboarding in Swiss alps.
Take shots off of a Russian stripper in Vladivostok.
Get a suit made in hong kong.
Train to do an iron man.

I don’t know your finances but $80k shouldn’t be play money unless you have $1,000,000 in the bank. It just seems dumb to blow that in a year. Take $20k and do something fun for a month and invest the rest.

A backpack and a first class Eurail global pass, only did it for 5 months back in the day but it was the most fun I have ever had.
