East TN is sweet. I like Knoxville but I’d rather be in Middle TN on the outskirts of Nashville somewhere. I worked in Fairview last year. Well it seems like you haven’t spent enough time in Lake Charles to see it for what it really is. There’s a lot of issues that people don’t see unless they live in a region. I’ve lived in OK & LA a lot. I know.

Trust me when I say, OKC is definitely not that bad. You might’ve just had a bad experience there but it’s definitely better than damn near everywhere in Louisiana. Lafayette is decent, but it’s not even close to Edmond or Nichols Hills in OKC. It’s apples to oranges man. The only places in LA worth living for the average person are Lafayette and The North Shore. By average person I mean middle class. You can live good in BR or NOLA for sure if you have a good income.

Well I lived in Edmond the second time I moved to OKC. OKC should not be in the same breath as Nashville. Even though Atlanta isn’t great it’s still way better than OKC.
I dread the day I have to go back there but I know my job will require me to spend time at mike monroney

Did you read what I said?

What part of what I said did I compare Nashville to OKC? Or even Atlanta? I was comparing OKC to shite hole Lake Charles. I was comparing Oklahoma to Louisiana which is a fair comparison. TN and GA are the only states in the south not named Texas that are worth a damn.

The only places comparable to Atlanta are DFW & Houston. The only places comparable to Nashville are Austin, San Antonio and maybe Charlotte.

Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Nashville don’t suck at all IMO

OKC does infact suck. Sure most places in LA suck also but OKC is a crappy city with nothing around

Location wise, yes...

But St Louis will be smoked by the new Madrid fault...at some point...

OKC is too attracted to high powered tornadoes...

Omaha is not bad, we can get all those government workers to move to Nebraska and change the culture a bit...

The White House and seat of the Executive should remain in DC.

Congress should convene in Omaha, Nebraska. Build dormitories and let them sleep in bunk beds. 90% of the time they should be in their districts, talking to the people they represent.

The USSC is fine where it is, but it's insane that they don't have a 24/7 security detail.
