If you could go back anytime for past 100 years - Where would you live in US?

I am not talking for profit or anything like that (or go back to see your mom or dad), I am talking simply where were the coolest places to live in the US in the last 100 years?
I have three...
New Orleans in the 20's/30's (during prohibition)
Las Vegas during the 50's/60's
Or
Cape Canaveral area in the 50's/60's

Victorian London, 1880-90, has always fascinated me though I'm sure the constant smell of horse manure would have been a challenge.

I think LA in the silent movie days would have been awesome too.

There are a lot answers that would be cool for a short while but get old fast when you realized what you'd given up. Life several decades ago was more expensive, less convenient, and had a shorter life span for a reason. We romanticize the past in many cases, I doubt the reality would measure up.
To live permanently I'll take the present, as to where - there are several cool little towns out west that would work. But the optimum for me would probably be a nice RV and travel the country.

Somewhere out west, slightly before WWI.
Would have loved to find a house up in the mountains away from it all.

Alaska pre pipeline era.
Wyoming circa early 1900's.
Basically any place still remote and isolated from the rest of the country.

This is my answer. Winters would be hard as hell but it would be great.

The average person today has a better quality of life than John D Rockefeller in his day (died in the 1930's). Rockefeller would be worth $300 billion in today's money for context.

I'd go back to 1915 Houston
