A Loggerhead Shrike aka the Butcher Bird. Smallest of the hawk family and kill their prey by impaling them on thorns or barbed wire.

I would say a duck because they can fly in the air, swim in water, and walk on land. But too many people trying to blast you out of the sky.
They can also break off their (corkscrew shaped) penis and grow a new one.

When I took Ornithology at LSU we had a Harpy Eagle specimen and the pictures don't do justice to how big those feet and talons are. His fingers were thicker than human fingers.

Assuming, of course, that birds are real and not government spy drones

I am in constant awe and wonderment of all of Nature, but bird watching has become a favorite activity of mine - it's fun.
I encourage all of you reading this to patronize your local Audubon Society. As to the question asked, I choose the majestic Albatross.

Albatrosses are among the largest of flying birds, and species of the genus Diomedea (great albatrosses) have the longest wingspans of any extant birds, reaching up to 3.7 m (12 ft).

I think that's a young bird in the photo - it doesn't have the crest of an adult.
It also is a photoshop - in the photo it's going after a Proboscus monkey which is native to Borneo, not central and south america where the Harpy lives. I was curious if anyone would pick up on that. It's not a terrible photoshop since they do mostly eat monkeys and sloths. The original photo is at the bottom and I think the handler is using a young bird because an adult could really hurt him.

Pelican or hawk or some other type of protected bird that is at the top of the food chain

Sorry. I’m not much of a monkey expert, more of a bird guy. I remember Dr Remsen sayin they would swoop down and knock monkeys out of the trees and then follow them to the ground and knead them to death with their talons.
Pretty impressive.
