Sad thing is, I’ve been camping there too and it was my next guess. When you said bass fishing I was thinking of some hot spots... nice pic. Beautiful up there.

Its weird. a top 3 State record was caught there, but you cant call it a hot spot since there is no boat launch. I would love to take a kayak out there though.
Hiking the trail and fishing from the bank was fun. I caught a couple of medium Cats and small Bass while camping but didnt keep them.
It was a nice weekend to get away.
