NK EMP turns off USA power and communications nationwide. Could easily happen.
China and Russia see a chance to get involved. Maybe.

End of the world as we know it. Who knows? But I say yes.
Nuclear winter for next five years - Yes much plant life will die. Crop production might drop by 80% worldwide. Many will starve to death. Money will be worthless.
TD survives - nope. Actually Internet probably quickly dies.
Rural Farmers survive. Maybe
Cockroaches termites and fire Ants survive? Likely never miss a beat.

If NK attacks us our rebuttal would take less than a day.
