If we weren’t such a “sue happy” society would these shutdowns be happening?

I don’t doubt that some institutions are making the call out of raw fear but many must be making the decision with their pocket books in mind. Think the first person that gets sick at an institution that doesn’t shut down is likely opening themselves up to get sued for “carelessness” or whatever the legal term for what would happen is. I just feel like this wouldn’t be as big of a deal if it wasn’t for that.

Someone wanted to sue the dad who went out in public before his daughter tested positive. And have him doxxed. Same poster wanted me fired for posting here too much. This is what we are dealing with.

Meh, the threat of litigation isnt as powerful as the need for income.

These shutdowns are a culmination of 50 years of people being raised without being able to wipe their own arse and coddled their whole life.

You're a fricking liar.

1. The guy's other daughter tested positive for it FIRST. The hospital told he and the family to quarantine and NOT to go out in public. He did anyways to go to some stupid father daughter dance and got the whole school shutdown. He deserved to get doxxed and sued for that level of selfish behavior, especially if he spread it to anyone.

2. I said "I hope your boss finds out how much time you've spent in these threads instead of working the past few days." Yesterday, you claimed that I was trying to dox you for saying this.

He's been trolling the coronavirus thread nonstop the past 3 days and everyone is sick of him. I'd gladly meet that prick at the local sonic.

Again, depending on how the boss finds out, that could be considered doxing.

But I agree it wasn’t a “direct” call to dox him.

That’s false. He was asked to quarantine as a recommendation. He got the news that she was positive and left the dance immediately.

So you wanted me in trouble for posting here. Yeah, that doesn’t make you an a-hole anymore.

He deserved to get doxxed and sued

Why? What’s doxxing going to do other than impact his family? What if he doesn’t have any money to sue for? Whatever happened to just a good old fashioned arse whooping?
