A couple more things I’ve noticed
Why if you are being chased by white supremacists in a vehicle with guns are you not cutting through yards? Banging on doors for help?
If the guys were chasing him in a vehicle with a shotgun with intent to kill they could have hung out the window at anytime and killed him with a shotgun.
Where did the hammer come from? If he didn’t drop it why just run past it and not pic it up if you are being chased by white supremacists?
There is a lot more to this story we don’t know about.

Call me crazy, but I'm not gonna question the actions of a guy being chased with guns. Nobody knows how they're going to react in that situation. If you think you know how you'd act you are flat wrong
ETA: Also if he started running thru yards or banging on doors you'd have people saying "see, he was trying to break into that house, he was an immediate danger, no harm no foul"

We know the suspects lied to the cops about what happened and we know the DA told the cops on the scene not to make an arrest despite the cops themselves believing an arrest should be made.

Pretty wild that none of the witnesses mentioned a hammer on the day of the incident and none of the cops who investigated the scene found it. Weird.

By this line of reasoning, if a couple of hoods pull a gun on you off bourbon street and you fight back it was you who was the aggressor and the hoods who killed you should walk.
