I don’t get how this is considered a gift.

Really no different than my wife buying me a treadmill.

If I want a fricking treadmill I’ll go buy one.

Somebody really needs to bump that massive Peloton thread from last year.

ETA: I see it's been done

My wife told me tonight, "please buy me one of those, I want one so badly but you know I'll never buy it myself."

So I guess that's going to be her stocking stuffer and I hope she uses it if for nothing else to burn some of this stress she's been under at work. Plus she's 48 now and she could stand to lose a little arse but that's not why I'm buying it for her.

Hell, I'm probably going to try to get my old arse up on it too.

The progs overreacted on this one.

Peloton stock is still over valued though. It's priced like a tech stock, which it is not.

If she is already taking classes and you do too then why not?

Only if she is athletic already basically.

Bruh the people you see on the commercials aren’t the ones they are targeting nor are the ones financing these things for 36 months.

Why not just buy a spin bike and use the peloton app for $19 per month?

Spin classes, but at home. My wife said she'd love one but that it would be a waste of money because riding a bike outside is more fun.
