People forget it's so much more than that.

Hemp cannot be grown and thus cannot be manufactured. More than just smoking it cannot be made into clothes, plastics, perfumes, ointments, medicine, lumber, etc....

Imagine if they outlawed alcohol along with all alcohol based products. Everything form listerine and rubbing alcohol to perfume.

It's insane that an entire crop that is better able to he grown, used, manufactured, and farmed than most other crops is illegal because the highest grade particular types of that crop can get you high.

The best hemp for making things out of probably isn't even smokeable. Thick fibered and full of seeds.

I live in CO, its really become to the point that consuming mariuana is basically the same as alcohol. While some parents in the burbs have their panties in a wad about it, it doesn't seem to be a problem with anyone else. Some people get pissed if there are big clouds of smoke in public spaces, but you know I get annoyed with Cigs so I can relate.

its going to be legal everywhere in the US within 10-15 years, if not before. It just doesn't matter that much.

If you read the crime report in the newspaper, almost every violent criminal is in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when they get arrested. How can people not see how dangerous and violence inducing it is?

On the other hand, how often do you hear of a murderer or burglar with a bottle of whiskey in their pocket?

Alcohol gives me a hangover; marijuana cures the hangover (or prevents it).

You've been here long enough to know that this topic is made every week on this site and we all come to the same conclusion.
