Is Da Parish the only parish in the state with zero municipalities?

ZFG. In fact, I would prefer it. I'm Anglo Saxon.

Nothing like getting correct by someone from La when you incorrectly refer to a parish as a county.

Like it's something to be proud of or something.

Not really. I could call my uncle my aunt tomorrow but he'd still have a wang.

I guess Bruce Jenner kind of ruined that statement for me but I'll still post it.

Reminds me of listening to Milo Hamilton do Astros games on the radio. Any time he would say a sentence that started with "if" (like "if the Astros hadn't left so many men on base, they would be ahead"), he would finish it with "but of course if my Aunt Sally had a mustache, then she would be my Uncle Bob". Always cracked me up. But in this day of PC and gender confusion, he would probably get in trouble for saying that.

I wonder what would happen if Harry Caray were still doing games and talking about "Japs" playing in the big leagues

Good point. Ole Harry would have never survived in 2018 America with some of the things he said.

And for that matter, Skip would have probably been in "time out" a lot too.

Yes I would give a frick. A lot of them in fact.

I like the uniqueness of it. It reinforces the french heritage and culture of Louisiana to visitors and out of state observers.
