I wouldn't worry. My 13 year old female students can drop a deer at 300 yards easily. Hell their younger siblings too. They would be surrounded cornered and slaughtered like pigs.

and brutally cut off the heads of a long line of men and children, how would you react as an American?

The National Guard and other agencies have discussed this scenario for years. I would listen to emergency broad cast and get my family to safety. I would imagine all hell would break loose between the citizens and the Guard descending on the hot area at once. That said, if something like this happened, it would be certainly a suicide mission by the bad guys. But would scare the bejeezus out of Americans for sure.

Seriously not far-fetched to imagine this happening at a fricking Elementary School of all places. Beheading kids for terror effect and becoming martyrs. Hope our Homeland folks prevent that kinda shite.

Some think it is our Homeland/CIA folks who would organize and allow such an event to take place...

If you give the people in my surrounding area 12 hours notice that someone is coming to kill them, a lot would flee.

However, very many would stay behind to fight........ and ISIS wouldn't know what hit them TBH. If you barge into someone's house down here they're likely to be cleaning a gun.

So you think the US military would just be like "Welp. You guys are on your own, good luck"

What if ISIS said that the next town would be your town and anyone remaining in that town would be put to death in the most gruesome possible way? And, they would be at the city limits in 12 hours?

I'd laugh my arse off, ISIS only works for the most part because they move on areas where they have local support to some degree because the local goverments are so bad-- the only real exceptions of the moves on the Yadzhi and Kurdish areas of Iraq-- there's a reason they haven't moved south into Shi'ite areas of Iraq, or East into Iran-- because they'd get routed.

So given that, if ISIS announced they were moving into a US city in 12 hours I'd crack up, because it'd be about 12 hours and 5 minutes until any ISIS units in the area were wiped out by air strikes.

I'd wait for Kip to get on tv dressed up like a cowboy and tell me not to worry that all of BRs finest would be out giving speeding and inspection sticker tickets trying to find those responsible

Depends on where I'm at, if I was stuck in Atlanta and everyone captured were falcons fans, I may throw on a ski mask and turban.
