he is still obamas last hope not to be the worst president in history. if carter can start a world wide plague or something, then maybe he can improve obamas record

To be exact he is the oldest living former President right now. In March he would be the former President who has lived the longest lifespan. The oldest is technically is George Washington, if you just say "oldest" but we know what you meant...

Jimmy Carter is probably a pretty good person, and he obviously puts beliefs into practice.
For me it's hard to overlook his being a mouthpiece for Hamas and blindspots on Palestine, Castro, etc.

Also, the 3 presidents who died after Washington--Adams, Jefferson, Monroe--all died on the 4th of July.
