If fema will not reinsure my house?

Honestly, I have big doubts about anyone in the flood zone flooding again- this was a 1000 year storm.

FEMA doesn't insure your house. NFIP does

NFIP will be required to offer you flood insurance if they do not buy you out, which they may. Normally, a property has to flood multiple times before they will purchase the home from you and raze it.

FEMA/NFIP CANNOT uninsure a home. If you have flood insurance, they must continue to cover you. However, they CAN remove your contents coverage.
