If a real super virus ever comes about, humanity is screwed

Jeez, the ridiculousness of this situation when like 0.1% of people under 60 have died worldwide is unbelievable.
If a real superbug comes around that has a 10-15% death rate, other people will kill more than the virus itself. Toughen the frick up man

If a virus like this had 10-15% death rate it would be mass chaos. Better have plenty of guns at that point

A big Ebola outbreak would end this country.

Honestly I am more worried of an emp/ solar flare taking out all electronics

A virus killing 15% of the world population would set off rioting and disorder? You don’t say.

Humanity today is weak as frick and pretty retarded
If there was a “dust bowl” or “bubonic plague” today we would just all be dead. No survivors but the toilet paper

In fairness, if something highly contagious with that death rate breaks loose, there's not a whole lot of "preparation" any society can do beyond making sure a lot of holes are dug and plenty of lime is available.

My immune system is above average and I can skin a buck and run a trotline.

Always keep 2-4 weeks worth of essentials at your house. The Mormons have done this for a long time.
People panic because they're woefully unprepared for life and death.

It depends on when. If that takes another 10 years or more, Amazon will probably be pretty automated by then, so everyone staying home will seem much less threatening to our ability to get stuff and Amazon robot delivery service will keep everyone stocked with toilet paper.

killing 15% of the world population
15% mortality rate does not mean killing 15% of the population.

It’s a hypothetical, but you’re certainly welcome to create stricter requirements for online hypos.

That's why I will never depend on society to save me.
To time people woke to the enlightening world of individualism.

I am amazed how fragile society is. It all went to shite in like three months since this virus was discovered

15% death rate =/ 15% of the worlds population.
I can see why people panic. You don’t know simple statistics
