Considering catholics believe in evolution and the big bang theory, the last three popes have acknowledged it, and a catholic created the theories, yea i say you should.

Evolution is very real. There is nothing to not believe in. That would be like asking do you believe that the sky is blue.

Nope another poster, and maybe OP are trying to lump atheist into a group.
Not very effectively though.

Hell, you can look at what cane toads did to the snakes in Australia as proof of evolution within the last 50 years.
A simpler question would have been are your parents Christian, and do you still plan to get your child baptized. The Eastern Roman Catholic Religion has been on the decline in America as well as all Christians. I think OP abandoned the thread, but regardless of all the "controversial" things that most amercans know of these days, how many TD members still are pro baptism?

The Catholic Church doesn't officially support evolution but many in the Church uphold it including the last couple Pope. They just speak in a way that doesn't bind Catholics to believe it.
It's science anyway why should any Christian Church be your authority.

Evolution means different things to different folks. You're probably thinking of atheistic Darwinist creationist type of evolution in asking the question. Atheistic Darwinist creationism is the evolutionary view that all life we observe today is the result of only random/chance, mindless, meaningless, purposeless and goalless naturalistic mechanisms acting on an alleged single life form from long long ago.
Theistic evolutionists on the other hand reject that particular creationist viewpoint and believe God is involved in the process. Both views are faith-based views.
So, it depends on one's view of evolution and one's view of infant baptism. There's no simple answer.

As far as I'm aware, the Roman Catholic Church does not support the view that humanity is the result of random/chance impetuses which certain adherents of evolution teach.

No it doesn't. Religion bashers are the most ignorant group.
