The process of moving him BACK to Idaho again started at 6am Eastern this morning.

Also, cameras/media will be allowed in the courtroom in Idaho according to Brian Entin.

Bodycam footage from first stop released

They mention a swat team and a shooting. This officer seems more annoyed than other one. He was pulled over for tailgating in this stop too. Lol.

I’m not sure why this has info for the investigation. I only watched once, so I guess i missed whatever the pertinent info is. It’s all video. Not just audio like the first.

Except the dad did fly and then they both drove. So, here you have costs of the flight from PA to WA anyway. Which is kind of my point. If you gotta buy a plane ticket, why buy one for Dad to go from PA to WA, then they both drive 2500 for 4 days to PA, only for son to have to turn around and drive 4 days from PA back to WA to be back in school beginning of January. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense unless the point is to get the car away from the crime scene.

I know folks say they’ve done it or seen it in situations that warrant it (going home for the summer or transporting a pet, etc.). There’s not a pet here and this isn’t summer, so that’s isnt really relevant here.

I’m not saying anything other than I’m interested in hearing what comes of this supposedly pre-planned cross country trip. Was son planning to drive the car back? When was dad’s flight to WA booked? What were their actual reasons for driving the car home for winter break. Because it wasn’t a dog and it wasn’t a summer job.

The cops said they were looking for “occupants” of the Elantra. Just a little misinformation to make him think they weren’t onto him.

Cop:
Where are you headed?
Brian: we’re uh going to get some Thai food
Dad: well we’re coming from wsu
Brian: yeh there was a swat team there (trying to keep the subject off Idaho murders i think)
Cop: what’s wsu
Dad: Washington state university
Asks more questions about the swat team and shooting incident
Brian and dad answer about the shooting and dad says he’s horrified by it
Dad: we’re going to Pennsylvania in the pocono mountains

So basically i think this video is being used as evidence to show how Brian just says we’re going to get Thai food. Rather than we’re going home for Christmas to PA. He doesn’t want the cop to know where he’s going. He also doesn’t seem to want the cop to know where he’s coming from either.

Odd how the Dad speaks over his son during the "where are you going" question at the begining and tries to deflect

Got it. I haven't followed the case super close so I did not know that.
