No biggie, just saying. Not everyone knows by looking at it. I just happen to know those rivers and how they flow.
I could look at a map of an area I don't know and think it's splitting yet it's joining.

There are some R/moscowmurders posts that indicate there was a neon light on the wall near this point that illuminated BK for her to see him, but also served to 'blind' him in looking her way.

Yes, every single word. Did you? Did you expect the killer to call 911? You're reading from a sober standpoint. The tiktok roommate was more than likely not of a sober mind when she encountered the killer. She definitely didn't know at that moment he had been killing people in the house.
While looking at the event after the fact has clarity for you, that was not the case for a drunk and possibly high college student at 4:00am.

My Christmas tree that is still up (trashy) had my living room illuminated dimly and just beyond it in the hallway was my guest bedroom with the door barely cracked open. It looked pitched black through the crack and I thought to myself there’s no way I could see someone standing there if they were peaking through.
Part of me thinks he went upstairs to sexually assault one of the blondes and this whole thing went off the rails.

No I don't think his intent was ever to sexually assault someone. This loser likely has never been naked in front of a girl in his entire life. He was killing for the thrill of it and because he hated/resented women as a whole because they rejected him his whole life.

She didn’t know he was the murderer at the time and she was likely drunk/high. In that state of mind, she won’t instantly jump to something being wrong, in fact her mindset probably went to minimizing the situation to think it was normal—perhaps thinking it was a booty call or something like that.
The doors being locked would make a bit more sense as to why they didn’t call the cops first thing in the morning.

Tough guy, the dude killed 4 people and walked passed her. She knew something wasn’t right because she came out of room 4 different times after hearing strange stuff. She sees this guy wearing all black and mask and never goes to check on her roommates or call police until 8 hours later. Stop trying to act like her reaction isn’t worthy of questioning. It just doesn’t make sense.
