But my all means, take your SO up there and smash? Appreciate the advice
If you can’t trim the craft to handle 5300’ MSL in straight and level while you get a BJ, you shouldn’t be flying.

One additional piece of advice, spring for a bigger plane than a Cessna 150/152 or the small Diamond. You probably want to fly passengers. I did my training in a Cessna 172 and a Piper PA-28 Warrior.

You need 40 hours in the sky with an instructor plus passing some tests.
I think it’s 20 with an instructor and 20 approved solo.

Consulting the OT to learn about flying a plane and getting a license sorta means to me that you're not that serious about it. If you do want to do it start by googling the steps required and then finding the nearest aviation center in your area/instructor for the real stuff.
Happy trails if your pursuit is in earnest.

I think he only lost his license. I haven't seen anything about charges...and the FAA pulled his license back in April 2022.

Find a reputable flight instructor. Where do you live?

Pilot? Fill out application for flight school with airline and put anything but straight white Christian male on app and it’s paid for. You basically can’t fail no matter how many times you crash the in flight simulator. You good to go. You’ll have your wings in no time.

I've got a buddy with a sweet bonanza that he babies. He's an A&P and does his own work. Well, latest oil samples cost him about $35k for a rebuild. Right after he put about $50k in the dash. Watching friends drop serious $ keeps me from kicking too many tires.
