If you think this is isolated to nurses, you are sadly mistaken my friend.
OR staff, especially surgeons, are the top offenders.

Have been there recently and had the exact opposite experience. Every staff member we dealt with in the ICU was extremely respectful of the gravity of the situation and were supportive and caring. Hate you had the experience, hopefully it’s the outlier.
