This is a little embarrassing because I’m making a funny face but one of my neighbors caught me swimming in the flooded street yesterday

She’s going to make a great First Lady. The media will still find a way to shite all over her though

The Florida media haven’t really gotten all over her - they like her more than him so maybe it’ll be different

She seems very intelligent and people savvy. Can’t wait to see her undoing Jill’s shite in the White House.

I’m thinking they’re having her speak to introduce her to the American people.

A slow moving storm with 150mph sustained winds will have much bigger storm surge than a fast moving storm with 79mph sustained winds.

Why did people leave their big boats in the water? Cause they had insurance?

Either don't have trailers and or a bunch are just too big for trailers. The only option some had was to haul arse to another port 2 to 3 days ago. Sucks for all of them, even the ones with insurance are screwed giving how far out boat orders are right now, doubt any get replacements in the next year.

ongrats on getting through, Baw. I got a truck dent, but didn't lose a lanai screen, and I think the new roof held up. I hope daylight brings good news.

I have not had internet all day and my cell is t working. Rode up to check out my shop and all is ok. I have a little cell service here but nothing at home. Heading back there now

We lost a couple of screens in our pool cage and I had one small tree down. Considering what happened around me, I was fortunate. Cortez was trashed pretty good too. Will be in the shop all day tomorrow getting set back up so I check the damage and reports then. Been cleaning up outside all day

Crazy for our first one. We were scared for a while then just said “frick it” and just went with it. Busted out the small grill in the carport and threw 4 ribeyes on there about 6:00 when it was rocking here. Invited the neighbor over and started pounding tequila/tonics till We couldn’t anymore. Slept pretty good as thing slowed down for us around 9:30.

Winds were rolling from 2:00-8:00. That was some intense shite. I can’t imagine being further south. We made the right decision to stay but some of that was luck. If it had come 50-60 miles more north, we would have got smashed. I will be more careful with my decisions next time. Lesson
Learned

The first time i heard her speak was at a prayer breakfast during the inauguration week in 2019….really impressive!

She has done a masterful job of spearheading mental health awareness over the past 3 years.

I think she is a huge asset to Ronnie D - you can tell she was missed during her time away after the birth of her last child.

She is definitely getting a lot more PR time. Casey was on local tv out here before she married Ron Desantis and btw my ex wife interned with her on the local news in Jacksonville. The ex said she was very sweet and down to earth.

Track looks like it's staying pretty steady towards upper SC I'm in Savannah and I don't really know if I have much to fear other than some wind and rain.
