Makes me sad. Many childhood trips there. I love that place.

That bitch is probably on the phone with Disney now asking to speak with the manager as to why they aren’t open today. Telling them how they have now ruined her whole trip.

I’m just waiting for his thread in like 6 months asking for names of decent divorce attorneys

It is a sad, sad day. That car is an icon. May it rest in pieces.

Thanks for a drone video of a deserted stretch of beach and a washed out road.

That’s Punta Rassa. My buddy dry stores his boat right there at Sanibel Harbor Yacht Club by those orange condo towers. Been down there many times, basically every Spring. Him and his wife decided to stay and ride it out at their house in Venetian Village neighborhood in SW Fort Myers. Lost contact with him around 6:30p EST yesterday. Hope they’re ok and it’s just lack of cell service.

I’d love to roll back into to the rental agency with that car and just toss them the keys and say “yeah I paid for your shitty insurance scam”

I don't think this kind of stuff is cool. It makes him look stupid. But check out that storm chasing cred!!!

They were not letting anyone check in yesterday or today. If you had a reservation and were not there yet (as of Tuesday night), you could not come.

Yep, I posted that notice people were getting from Disney. They were refusing check ins through today, possibly through tomorrow. I guess they decided to open tomorrow.

Baw was supposed to check in YESTERDAY.

Reed definitely got himself into a Jam. I wonder how he got out.

Is Jeff still MIA?

The damage is unreal, but that is a pic of a trailer park.

I have family in New Smyrna Beach (just south of Port Orange and Daytona). They have over a foot of water in their house.
Halifax is full and flooding out every creek.

Sad situation. They took the worst of the rain. It maxed out Storm Total Precip. on radar at 15".

He got in someone's house as the surge came up. He rode the storm out there.

A "trailer park on the beach" is just one step above "pop up tent on the pier" when it comes to riding our a major hurricane.

It is from all the storms. That dude ain't happy unless he's diving headlong into a hail core.

That's his car. To his credit he would rather have his vehicle if at all possible. That doesn't mean he's above blowing the windows out of a rental, though.
