Where's all the Florida baws on this board?
My house is aboot 1/2 way between Tampa and Orlando. I cut some trees down that were close to it in Feb. I got a new roof on January 4th.
This sumbitch coming through Bradenton, over my house, then to Jacksonville is not ideal.

I concur. Bradenton/Sarasota here

Clearwater here, parents on Indian rocks beach...not happy. Rooting for OTS or big-bend area.

If you had a Florida beach trip next weekend would you cancel? Not sure what to do and tomorrow is my 3 day window

All kidding aside, if anyone’s headed north to hotels, I can take your pups at my house in Gainesville

Don't trust her. Your pups will be wearing jorts the next time you see them.

Man, this thread died with a quickness
Moving east and dropping the "M" forecast to a "H" takes a lot of wind out of OT hurricane thread's sails.
Pun intended

I’ve got Rosemary booked from Wednesday through the weekend. No plans to cancel, if it stays it’s current path, I think Thursday on should be fine

Where's all the Florida baws on this board? Are they just all gator fans so they avoid this site like the plague?
I mostly lurk.
I live in northeast Florida so we tend to get lucky/not be as impacted as the rest of the state.
The only recent hurricane to actually significantly impact my area and life was Matthew, which most LSU fans like to bitch about and pretend it didn’t affect people because of anger over how the football game situation went down that year, so… yeah. :|
I tend to stick to lurking for the good weather info.

Thanks Slagomatic.

I got a fat moccasin on my lanai today and she wanted to eat him up. I luckily had the dog door locked.

We are mad because it DID affect people and Florida said frick it we are gonna pretend we are still having the game
Should have been moved to BR on monday so officials could prepare for storm, not waste time

Naples here. We’ll be in a dog friendly hotel in Miami from Tuesday until Thursday or Friday. Room is booked as a precaution but I think we’ll use it for at least a couple of nights. It’s only points.

See? Even mention that name and immediate downvotes.
I had tickets to the game. And my small posting history shows I actually advocated for it to be moved to BR earlier that week rather than the wishy-washy BS that went down. Woulda liked to evacuate out that way and still see the game at the time.
But LOL gayturd fan so frick me, right?
And you wonder where the Florida folk are at…

I got no beef with Florida fans or people over that situation. I'm just mad at Jeremy Foley.
It's a hurricane thread, football allegiances don't matter.
