Avoid like the plague, both directions backed up because of multiple wrecks.

For all us non LSP Troopers, can you throw a geographical reference in there? Is this Slidell? East of there? Baton Rouge to Debham? I have no clue.

BR, from the split to Oneal.

Mike markers start west end of the state and go east on even number roads.
If I 12 starts in Baton Rouge, where would Mike marker 0 be???

This city has no concept of how to clear an accident scene nor control traffic during accidents. It's maddening.

And yeah - Coursey, Old Ham, and 190 are locked up from waze users.

Baton Rouge at Millerville exit. Started out as an 18 wheeler meeting an overpass pylon, traveling east. At least that what I was told.

An 18 wheeler wrecked this morning at Millerville. They're still trying to clean it up.

18 wheeler got shoved into the bridge supports under the Millerville overpass. Truck driver dead, whatever he was hauling is everywhere. Bulldozers and dumpsters out there trying to clear the scene.

Damn. What time did it happen? I got off on millerville at about 10:45 and went to get stuff for bloody Marys
When I passed back by at 11 it was backed up both ways.

Common knowledge BR residents coming home from the beach. It's the glorious countdown marking the end of a painful 5 hour drive from Destin!

Anybody got a specific time for this guy, somewhere within the known 15-minute window between 10:45 and 11:00? Was it maybe 10:51?

I am going to have to agree with this. I have sat at many a scene watching BRPD, BRFD and tow truck drivers standing around like they DGAF. No sense of urgency at all.
