I wish there was a way to make a purchase decision based on the shipping service used

If the business I'm about to purchase from ships with FedEx, I'd never do business with them if I could know this before hand.
That is all.
That is all.

All of the parcel carriers suck, news flash.
USPS is the worst of them though.

FedEx absolutely sucks. I've never had any issues with UPS being delivered on time

FedEx gets the drivers that UPS and Amazon don't want.

I have a delivery I'm waiting on, and although I'm still within the delivery window timeframe (until 3:00pm), this driver has passed up my home 3 times, gone down the same road a quarter of a mile from me a minimum of 3 times, and then sat at the same location for 45 minutes before moving again. I'm thinking of getting in my truck and going meet this motherfricker to grab my damn package since he is right down the road from me. There's apparently no rhyme or reason behind the route he's taking and it's pissing me off way more than it probably should.
In the end, the package I'm waiting on is not all that important and I can wait for it, but the way this tard keeps passing my home and going to every house near me except me is infuriating

Agreed. Order, you get an email, click here to track.
So you do. You groan because it's a Narvar link. The shipping number is 4 digits, so you know you're screwed. The carrier is like Bob's Last Mile or Ontrac or whatever. They have your package in Chicago. The next day it's accepted again in Los Angeles. It's moving through the system, delivery on time. Check back soon for your delivery date. You never get another update. Shows up 3 weeks later by e-bike.

We have said the same thing. They ship USPS, good luck.

Aside from the computer program that establishes the route as well as the order in which the packages are loaded into the truck to maximize efficiency.

FedEx is fricking terrible. From my experience with the at work, they lose shite all the time.

If it makes you feel any better, the driver probably doesn't route his own packages. That is usually done in the home office.

I kind of figured this, which makes it even worse. If I can't blame a stupid driver, then their corporate sop for determining these routes is stupid.

I really think it's based on your local center and fleet. I used to have the same opinion of FedEx when I was in Louisiana, but here in Central Texas FedEx is generally always on time, and they deliver typically in the same window each day, 12-1.

Time, no. Correct address, yes. The last two UPS deliveries have been delivered to a house a block over. Both packages addressed correctly but delivered to a house that is NOT the same street number and has a totally different street name. The map in the UPS app is correct, and will show they delivered to the wrong address. I've told UP about it and they wanted me to provide a ton of documentation. All they needed to do was look at my address and the address where the packages were left. CLEARLY, they are telling the driver the wrong address or his map is just wrong.
I avoid UPS like the plague.

USPS is the absolute worst. A package will sit at a sorting center 5 miles from my house for a few days, then disappear for a few days more. Then just randomly show up at my door.
