What if you hate the taste of regular coke and really like the taste of diet coke?

So you are upset that they aren't consuming MORE calories?

Why not order a regular Coke or a good ole Dr. Pepper?

Because that is still 300-400 calories.

And I think you'll find that if you take out the drink, it is actually pretty hard to hit 1500 calories on the meal. You can do it, but it is far from a foregone conclusion out the door.

Looking at all the replies in this thread and love for Diet Coke it's hard to believe that regular Coke outsells Diet Coke and Coke Zero combined by 2:1.

Not surprising considering how many people in America are obese.

Type 1 diabetic here so I definitely don't waste my carbs on sugar drinks. Also, I can't stand the taste of regular coke. I can drink 100 diet comes without taking any insulin but if I drank 10% of that in regular cokes I might be headed to the hospital. Any other brilliant questions?

First of all soft drinks have zero to do with America's obesity issue and secondly I am surprised at the response - more people drinking DC and obese Americans not surprising?

Diet Dr.Pepper is as good as ANYTHING. Period. I prefer it to Dr.Pepper, or anything else.
