I rent a room in my Mother’s house. I say apartment because when I told someone where I lived on the Food Board a few years ago he began making following me and making fun of me. I’m sorry, but some of us can not afford a house in this city. It doesn’t make me a bad person. I am at once mixed between pride and shame. Pride because I am able to go to bed in the same room where I have slept my entire life. How many people can say that? Shame because society says living with your parent in your 30s is pathetic.
