Geeks don't build actual stuff, so I find it hard to believe that they'd number houses in a subdivision. I don't see this happening, even in Berkley, Stanford, and similar areas. Please prove me wrong.

What happened when they expanded the neighborhood the went to these values:
2MB, 4MB, 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB…1 Petabytes, etc.
Maybe a street can just have house numbers, 2^1, 2^2, 2^3, etc.
