I just figured I'd throw $10 out there to be able to say I own a NFT, but I'm having to drag my jaw around at the thought of people paying thousands of dollars for these doodles.

Are there cheap "junk" sites out there? I can't seem to find them.

No one is actually paying thousands for NFTs it’s bots that people own to make it look it people are buying them

I’ll never understand the logic that makes those have any value, but in clown world that’s actually one of the saner things around.

I never got the fascination with NFTs. It always felt slimy and phony. I won several NFTs from a contest. I sold them before you can say Adam for $100. Apparently some people put value in them. Like flipping real estate. I saw some buy low, sell high and become modestly wealthy off it. That when the market was hot. It just feels greasy to touch it.

I'd pay $10 for that for sure!

Just an easy way for partner A to create a digital piece of art and have partner B pay a ridiculous price for it to write off for taxes 100%.

Buying art for your small business can be claimed as a complete write-off of business assets. Broken down, this means if the tax department defines your business as small then you can claim as many individual works of art as you like as long as each is less than $20,000.

I bought one of those Samsung Frame tv's. I figure it'd be cool to have my "own" art/picture on the rotation.

They were low-tier NFL player type trading cards/ NFCs. Like not even great NFL players. They weren't like only copies, originals. Like one was 1/5000 and 1/2500. Peeps were asking for a lot higher but I just didn't think people would pay that price. I wanted to just get rid of them before people realize it was a scam. I can almost guarantee the price I sold em for is the same or gone lower. If I thought they were special I'd been more careful selling em.

Good question. I'm interested in this as well.

Probably sold it for $100 and a few months later the person he sold it to sold it for $10,000.
