Americans lost all faith in the “experts” and institutions they represent.

I think back to all the media I watched during this time and how I bought all of it at the beginning. Now I not only don’t trust anything in the media, I don’t trust doctors, history books, people who run charities, CIA/FBI, higher Ed….

narcissistic ignorance

Far better phrase, and more intelligent, than the Otards that say "cognitive dissonance " every chance they get.

The workforce was reduced by Covid deaths, and the problem was exacerbated because less workers were coming into the workforce due to demographics.

The above statement isn't opinion; it is factual.

That's why service is so bad, businesses hsve had to hire previously unemployable half-witted, slackjawed yokels.

Covid exposed all the pathetic douches in society. Never realized there were this many.

I went through much worse thsn Covid over the past 5 years.

You are weak and soft and let life events dictate your success or failure.

Life is tough, wear a helmet.

The people who pushed Covid restrictions like social distancing and school closures are literally worse than Epstein.

And I used the word literally correctly

My son mentioned 2 weeks out that he was hearing “lockdown” and we needed to be prepared. I laughed and said no way. About 2 weeks bf that, someone was having fits in the office bc someone there had traveled to Europe and she was saying he was going to bring back coronavirus to the office. That was the 1st time I’d heard of it. Didn’t think anything of it bf it was a China bug. Anyway, my son started buying groceries and toiletries and they were off limits for use. 2 weeks later when we shut down we had everything already. I won’t laugh again.

Of course.

We had a full service @ the end of May 2020 # the height of "restrictions ".

No masks, no one got sick.

Life went on.

Really its all been too much too fast.

100 years ago half of America was still lighting a candle and going up to the outhouse to poop. Not to mention riding horses and stuff.

It takes the human mind 10,000 years to evolve in any meaningful way.

Thats a pretty narcissistic viewpoint. I “didn’t participate in the Covid scam” either but I don’t pretend it hasn’t affected everything around me.

To not notice, what are you like an 80 yo hermit? For one, everyone who didn’t participate is 100% more bitter than they were years ago, I think upon learning how fragile everything around them is. And everyone that did participate is gullible or lazier than they were before due to the societal impacts during Covid. I certainly fall into the much more bitter category and that sucks cuz I still have a long ways to go. I haven’t gone out as much since Covid either, might just be that I’m getting older and not in my 20s anymore but feels like I had a growing general disdain of people during Covid thats played a factor too

No seriously. I was living in Africa during Covid. They tried to do a lockdown and curfew thing but there were riots and some cops were killed so that lasted about 2 days. Then I guess they had real problems like malaria and terrorists to deal with so Covid just wasn’t a thing.

I did come back to the states a few times during Covid and couldn’t help but laugh. What a bunch of idiots.

Well, that was the point of Covid. More control and then control you mentally for years after.

Well wait...am I a sheep or a badass?

The years 2017-2023 knocked me down, nothing to do with Covid.

For those that lost loved ones and their businesses, I get it. Covid was life-changing for them.

For the rest of us, we've moved on and the only pace I see it discussed is here.
