GoodRx only really works with chain pharmacy. Independent pharmacies like mine do not accept it bc the clawback fees hurt us. We only accept manufactured coupons.

Different pharmacy’s do charge substantially different prices for the same med though so everyone should check all of their meds on that website.
Sam's Club Plus membership can save you some money on prescriptions. Link is a list of Sams drug prices for plus members.

Why the frick did that bitch behind the counter not tell her she could save money before the lady turned away? Pisses me off every time.
The people behind the counter don't know what various coupons are active for every possible drug they sell. That's not their job. It's yours.

I get my one prescription as a 3 month supply. I was getting it at my local CVS through my insurance at $66 and some change. Was told by a family member to check out GoodRx. Using it I get the same 3 month supply at WalMart for less than $30. As others said it gives you prices at several stores. WalMart is the cheapest here for that drug, but all the ones listed it was cheaper than just going through my actual health insurance.

The mom also has a smart phone in the commercial, not sure how she can afford a several hundred dollar phone and can’t afford her kids meds - that’s the only accurate depiction in the entire thing
She shouldn’t have kids if she can’t afford them. Work more time or more jobs, something if your child needs a medication.
Dumb commercial all the way around.

If you can download a free app that reduces the price, why can't the drug companies just reduce the price to begin with?

This is the commercial that got me turned on to Good RX.
I've saved a ton on prescriptions since, so it's hard for me to hate it.
