I need help with proof of mailing to a PO Box

Can't FedEx. Can't certified mail with signature.
I need to send a check to a PO Box, but I want some sort of documentation that the check was actually sent and received.
This is a considerable check for a client of mine. Can't send electronically.
I just don't want any call backs with any claims that the check was never sent.
Sad that we have to live this way, but CYA is the name of the game.

Why can't you do certified mail? That's all you can do with a PO Box.

You can't wire transfer? Route to their account from yours. You bank teller can do this.
Or write it to cash, smash it and meet him halfway. I prefer $100's.

Why can't you use certify mail. They do that with Post Office boxes.

I suggested him just placing a stop payment, but he wants the physical check back.

Too paranoid to have a home address?

Certified mail with a signature needed. They will put a receipt in the client’s box, and he will have to sign at the counter to get the mail.

Why can’t you certified mail the item? They’ll get a green postcard in the Box and will have to go wait in line to sign and pickup.

Priority mail it comes with tracking and will show delivery in the box.

US Mail tracking is BS nothing like FedEx or UPS.
Certified is all you can do if you're going to mail to a PO Box.

USPS tracking doesn't have near the number of scans as UPS or FedEx but it absolutely will have a scan when placed in the box.
