Always check out Bassett for things like that. They have really good mattresses. Check with them for sales.

This is true. Wife and I caught hell getting ours into the house. This place is really a hidden treasure. We loved ours so much, we went back and got our son a full size of the same mattress. I think that ran us 800. I just can't express how good the mattresses they make are. They are so cheap because the only advertising you are paying for is a sheet of plywood out front with the word mattress on it with an arrow pointing to the building. Lol

This is the OT, these folks will just keep spending the most they can for a middle of the road product.

I just hope the old man lives long enough to make my next one.

Tuft and needle

Research this company. I got one a few weeks ago and love it. Someone on here recommended it to me a few months ago

I got the tuft and needle one a few weeks ago and couldn't sleep on it. Waaaaaay too firm. It's excellent quality and phenomenal customer service but just way too firm for me to sleep

Ended up buying one from SAMs after going to a couple of those mattress stores ( those are a joke!). SAMs is your best bet but trying it out in person is necessary in my opinion.

I spent 2k on a Simmons that is hybrid memory foam and springs. I sleep really well on it. Too many variables to recommend though.

I got the tuft and needle as well. Really firm so I had to to get a memory foam topper. After that it's great so far.

Tempurpedic was best 5k I've ever spent

The wife and I are about to spring for a Tempurpedic. We bought a high end king pillow top about 5 years ago, and it now has compression on both sides. It's not supportive anymore, and that's really starting to hurt my back.

Like someone said, you spend roughly a third of your day in bed. Don't cheap it out if you don't have to.

Try Christeli Mattress Co. I found them online when doing mattress research. I was close to purchasing a Tempurpedic and after researching sleeplikethedead.com and others I pulled the trigger on the Daniele two months ago and so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

I also spoke to Rocky Mountain Mattress Co and was impressed with them also.
