maybe on the cheapest model. the higher models hold value quite well. However, a Rolex will be easier to sell and have a much higher pawn value for that same reason

Rolex all day, I have a 2002 Stainless Submariner paid 2500 now worth about 6000. Also have a Tiger Tudor that has actually gained value. My Tag Monaco has gained almost no value just staying flat.

The reason I started this thread was to get consensus on which is better for the value since I know nothing about luxury watched. And if I'm going to spend 5K on a watch, I rather defer to people who know more about it than me. Don't you think? That's called knowing what you know and not being an egotistical jerk. I get thoughts from here, keep the watch to myself and don't brag about it to people I know. Thank you very much.

Just get a pre owned Submariner with no date should cost between 4500-6000 depending on year model and condition. If you buy a base model Omega you will take a hit over time.
