Does she have a record of defending men/husbands/dad's? If I am paying that much I want to know this.

Actually, she generally takes mostly males. That’s what I’ve been told, anyway.

Not surprised. Guy above named Mike Small supposedly does 50K for a retainer. He does criminal defense work though.

He only does white collar and federal stuff now.

I am just recommending the OP check out these lawyers before he chooses a particular one. I was broke going through my divorce and got shitty advice about getting one. Knowing what I know now I would have bit the bullet and paid a little more to find one that had a good track record in family law.

Better on the conscience I guess. He represented one of the frat boys that got arrested for the LSU fraternity haze death. It might just be in and out though.

Good for you opposite for me. I got shitty advice and had no clue about divorce so the ex said bend over and spread them. Years later I look at that divorce paperwork and say to myself wtf were you thinking.

Glad I am done with child support and the ex.

That was the other hazing, not the one where the kid died. I think he knew the parents and represented their son as a favor.

if you have children together, it is best that you both stay in and fight to make the marriage work. It will suck at times, but relationships can be repaired. You can’t change her and she can’t change you, but you both can change yourselves.

If one of you is seeing someone else, stop. You can’t fix a marriage with one foot out the door. And if that is the case, whatever is new and shiny will soon lose its luster. Again, you have to fix yourself before you continue on with your spouse or new partner, should that be the case. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself in this predicament again.

Worse advice than your shitty "how to be a cheap a-hole at a car dealership thread" everybody cites.
