I agree with that. I wish they would have just focused on their outdoors life and hunting. Instead, they focused on Si too much and he tried too hard.

This. They could have done it in away where people still knew it was fake, but still be entertaining.. Sort of like pro wrestling, but that's where shows mess up. They tried to make a character that is popular, the lead character, but what makes them funny is not being the lead character. You keep the audience always wanting more...

That show went to shite when Phil didn't want to be on the show anymore. The network told Phil to keep the religious stuff to a minimum and he pretty much said frick off. Good Job Phil!

Figures! The network was so damned preoccupied with being PC that they basically killed a profitable franchise.

It annoyed me when it would get super fake such as acting like they are stranded somewhere when you know there is a film crew right there filming them that have their own vehicles.

That's true with most shows like that.
What was really funny was when they showed an aerial view of Glennwood RMC and it was captioned as "client meeting tyler texas."
