If you don't press charges then what you will pay forward is more violence to others. That makes you responsible.

Thats how I feel about it. Letting people slide just means pain for the next fella. Its not doing anyone favors.

I understand your concern but the individual needs to be where he can get help. No outpatient therapy or drug treatment is going to help him. You might call an Autism Response Team to see if they can help.

What if attacks and murders a woman, kid or someone else unable to defend themselves as well as you and his brother?

You’re ok with throwing their life away?

Thank you

After talking with his brother last night they've sent him to multiple places. In this day I can't see the only option is to put him down.

This isn't a troll

I wish that psychriger guy would weigh in on this but I knew this site was broad and I'd have to go through the trolls but thank you for your response.

Settle down,

He tried to murder his brother in April. His brother showed me all the stab wounds last night.

Our judicial system saw fit to release him into society. People keep voting left and let these people go. Only a few options are there for us. Kill them and then we fight that legal system that wants to jail us or find help for them.

I'm here asking how he can be helped.

The judicial system will let him go again. Others have pressed charges against him and he's still walking free. This isn't on me, yet I'm reachinging out on his behalf.

Maybe that kybluegrass woman has some insight.

I was replying to your comment about not throwing a life away. His life. You weren’t discussing the judicial system in the post I replied to.

And if they are arrested for a similarly violent offense while out on bond, they are much more likely to get that bond revoked and incarcerated where they will be forced to receive some sort of treatment if that’s what’s needed.

Bond rules today....lol

It's all about the money. Our judicial system is a JOKE

I just spent 2 years dealing with it for doing something to save my own life. It's a money grab.

Lady justice is a joke, they raped, murdered and threw her in a ditch long ago so they could make a dollar.

That is a good sentiment but attempted murder that he is up for is not merely beating someone up.

There are other people you can help. You do not want this guy out because of anything you did.

How do you know he has Asperger's/on the spectrum. Has he been officially diagnosed, or is it what people say. Aspergers typically is high intelligence which usually is non aggressive

Right, it isn’t Asperger”s causing this violence. He is just an evil person

I’m a mental health professional.
Sending this guy to a short term mental health hospital is not the answer. You need to press charges so he will more likely be sent to a long term forensic facility, or to jail. Society is not safe with him in it,
“Aspergers” individuals do not typically behave violently and are cognitively aware that violence is wrong.

Dude, press charges.

What is with this mindset of not pressing charges when people act like this?

You see it all the time with arrests.

Police: Do you want to press charges?

Citizen: No. Their life is hard enough already. I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson.

Criminal ends up doing it again and again.

Press charges.

He apparently can’t be.

So, quit being a puss and press charges.

If he’s tried to kill multiple people he needs to be locked up for the good of society.

Maybe not in prison but he needs to go away somewhere

Thank you for weighing in.

Like I said

Followed here a long time so I've seen a lot of posters opine on things. I know you're a Dr and I respect that.

I have filed charges, now I have to go before the judge. Because filing charges after the fact somehow requires this. I think it's bullshite but they say the officers I reported it to didn't see it.

Still wish psych or bluegrass girl would comment, maybe they can't, legally.
