Well that use to be why I've always had a facebook account and now insta account. Was nice to see what old friends or acquaintances were up to. Fun pics of family kids, vacations, places to see or eat or do, family passing, etc...
Now it's just mostly a barrage of political posts on both spectrums (protrumpers, antifa this or that, never trumpers, #blm, etc. Etc.). Those who dissent, get defriended and those people on both sides get to live in their echo chamber of likes, hugs, and hearts.

Her dumbass will get herself in trouble on Facebook too if she's not careful.
She posted something not very 2020 pc in a comment a few weeks ago after a few glasses of wine that she had to delete the next morning after my sister pointed out to her that you can't say that anymore

She didn't get in FB jail but set herself up for a good 2020 cancelling. She was just repeating a name her sister used to call her as a kid but context doesn't matter anymore.

That’s pretty much my social media existence.
I can only scroll for about 2-3 minutes at a time before I’m tired of seeing politics experts with opinions that shouldn’t be sharing those opinions. I’ll get tired of it and log out.

I've unfollowed anyone, of any political ideology, who shitposts shitty political memes and thoughts all day. I don't mind a well thought-out post, or some discussion, but if someone is sharing memes of Trump wrapped in the US flag with Jesus watching over him or Godzilla with a Trump head.. nobody wants to see that shite.
