You'll need a coat most likely.

You will have a blast. As others stated, go tour the stadium the day before and take in all it has to offer. It really is great. Get there early and bounce around a couple tailgates.

This is good advice. I grew up six blocks from lambeau, and when we go we just pack bags of beers and premixed drinks and walk around until we find a fun area by the oneida gate (you don't need a cooler/ ice, cuz December). Always strike up a conversation and end up getting shots, food, and new friends. Tell them youre at your first game and from the south and then hunker down for a good time because they'll show it to you. Packer fans are incredibly proud of what we have in the experience and want visitors to enjoy it as well. They will easily be the nicest people you could hope to meet at an nfl game. The bars on holmgren all get packed and have tents outside with live music and vendors... if you don't want to bring your own drinks those are a fun option. Check out the new Titletown district as well for the big sledding hill and ice skating ribbon.

Try to add about 20-25 pounds of fat by December.

Doesn't help. You need muscle mass which increases heat.

If you're dressed appropriately the cold is fun. And if you're hungover from Saturday it'll clear it right up. Also, I'd suggest the op check out stadium view on Saturday night. Those bars are jumping the night before a game. Everyone dresses up in their best packer gear, and they'll have stuff going on over there with former players, college games on, visiting teams fans out and about.

You can always put more clothes on. You can only take so much of your clothes off.

Yes, it was great, but beer brats and their fried cheese suck!

I wore my hunting gear as it was 8 degrees, but as it wasn’t windy I was fine.

The fans we sat next to were all down to earth people.

How dare you. Brats and cheese curds are national treasures. But there are definitely crappy versions of both out there.

Your assumption is wrong. We drink brandy. More brandy is consumed in a typical December than was consumed in Europe during both world wars.

Sounds mighty fine. I didn’t know that was the tradition.

I don’t think Brandy had released any songs before the world wars, tho

I went to a Steelers game in December, didn't even need a jacket. It did snow most of the week though, just warmed up the day of the game.

Buddy of mine goes to a Packers game every year. He always makes an early game and never had an issue.

Several years ago, he went to the last regular season home game. He bought all the recommended thermal gear. Brought some of those heat packs. He enjoyed the overall experience but froze his arse off. He said the locals around him had half as much on as he did, and they seemed fine.

It's all a matter of what you're used to.

FWIW, he has gone back only to early games again.

I would still go, but if it's a cold week, be prepared to freeze your tits off.
