Maybe I should buy some. Last time it dipped to 6k I felt really dumb a month later for not buying.

You acted like Wiki and I were shooting up ketamine when we said Bitcoin would eventually be over $5K in 2013

No we said you were morons for thinking it would crumble governments. Value didn't matter. It may crash at 50k but it eventually will be as insignificant as myspace

We've also been very straightforward in saying blockchain technology is the goldmine here

the blockchain technology is what i was talking about the other day when you took what i said the wrong way. and i agree with you that bitcoin will eventually go completely bust, it will not be the crypto that sticks, it will be ethereum because of who is backing it and the more secure technology.

For the record, I am not saying bitcoin will not get to 20k or even 50k, I am saying it will not be the crypto that stands the test of time. I don't believe it will get to even 25k honestly though unless another country goes belly up like venezuela did.

Now am i pissed i didn't buy more than I have over the last 5 years, god damn right i do, but bitcoin is a short term play only especially if just getting in. Can make arse tons of money if you know what you are doing and you pay attention very very closely, but it will be fools gold for just as many at the price its at today.

I think Wiki also lied quiet a bit about his actual investment in it and even lied the other day when he came back when he said "I never have to work again" He may have made some money in bitcoin but I seriously doubt it was "never have to work again" money as that's a large sum and that's why he always avoided the question about how much bitcoin he owned.

Or he is just not going to say online how much he owns of something. I have 3 friends who never have to work again and were in it during the times wiki was touting it.

They arent going to go on message boards and say how much they have.

Would you?

Maybe my idea of never work again type money is illogical compared to others

These threads are always amusing

On Dec 2016. Bitcoin was $800

Buying and trading all the way could easily net you 6 figures with even a modest investment

Wiki was all over it when it was sub $10 and then buying as many as he could when it was $10-$20. I am positive he had hundreds at one point, probably even thousands, so there is a chance he has never work again money buy even your standards but most likely he sold well they hit $1000 a coin. I hope he didn’t though and is still sitting on a fortune, that would be pretty cool.

To tell you that I would have to get into my current income and what it would take to maintain that and I don't want to do so on here

My life and business for the last 20 years has revolved around investments. I have multiple degrees and have taught economics. I'm fairly smart and I just can't buy this stuff. I'm sorry if any of this hurts your feelings.

If Wiki bought 1000 bitcoin when they were only cents on the dollar then he very well could be a multi millionaire. It's very possible he is actually sitting on a fortune.

The question is did he sit on a large quantity of them and let them continue to rise in the thousands of dollars a piece or did he dump them when he just made a good profit.

Look at this thread and the one I found easily via Google.

You're the one who seems to be butthurt about this. You're actively rooting against it and seem to take any success personally.

Serious question - do they have USD that proves they'll never have to work again or BTC that says they'll never have to work again?

Also, people brag about their net worth or holdings on here all the time. If I was a Bitcoin millionaire, I'd let all you peasants know about it.
