That's cool and I could do the same but it's not as smart as you think it is for a lot of reasons.
You're missing out on free CC points that can be used as cash
Everyone should have credit and credit cards at the very least for emergency purposes
You have missed out on one of the greatest market runs in American history where you could have easily beat any reasonable loan interest rate
etc...
Just saying that some people need to live by the Dave Ramsey method you are because they are financially retarded but it's actually not as brag worthy as you think it is.

One of my cars is 0.9% the other is 1.9%
I can do better investing that money than buying the car outright.

But then you can't brag on TD that you follow Dave Ramsey's advice

so maybe you're right?
but I like to tell people what your grandmother told you, save for a rainy day and live on less than you make.
that way when you're old you are set!
but

but
consume consume consume
right?

You do realize you can still save doing the things I said? In fact, you will actually save faster putting that cash in a safe dividend paying mutual fund or something while taking out a low rate on the vehicle.

almost
but the thread specifically says I've never had a car payment.

I have not. 3 vehicles so far, not sure I'll be able to do that for the next one though.

Ask any millionaire if they've ever had a car note? Or borrowed money to build wealth.

Yes.
I am assuming you max out the Roth?
If not it should be above a taxable mutual fund.
And I’m assuming the bulk of the Roth is in equities, with only a portion conservative for the emergency fund.
