Day turned black, sky ripped apart
Rained for a year 'til it dampened my heart
Cracks and leaks
The floorboards caught rot
About to go down

Sounds like you need Jesus.

I had B a couple of years ago. That’s the pussy flu. I was good to go after about 36 hours.

“But but I got the flu shot in 1997 and I swear it gave me the flu so never again”

“I’m naturally super healthy and ate dirt as a kid so my immune system is solid so I don’t need the flu shot” (translation I’m a giant pussy scared of needles)

It does when these people spread flu to others that it can seriously be dangerous to (young kids, elderly, someone immunocompromised).

I’ve felt a little sick after getting the shot, but obviously it didn’t give me the flu.

I had flu vaccine in October. Came down with Flu A this week. Started fever Tuesday night. Took Xofluza Wednesday am and fever done in 24 hours. Friday felt normal again.

Sorry to hear.

I had the A strain a few weeks ago. Seemed fairly mild. No fever; just tired and listless.

I do think exposure to random shite helps your immune system but not an excuse to not get a vaccine

I’m sick as heck right now too, - I slept for less than 2 hours last night because I reacted badly to Mucinex and it left me wired. Thank god it doesn’t feel like the flu- it feels like a pretty standard cold. If I get a fever or it drops down from my head to my chest and I get bronchitis, I’m gonna be really bummed.

Does the flu shot prevent you from spreading the flu?

Well if you don’t get the flu then you’re less likely to pass it in. So yes

Some people can’t seem to understand basic logic I guess
