I represented a guy who had a conviction (and I believe some prison time) over a head on collision where someone was killed in the wreck. He said his passenger grabbed the wheel and swerved intentionally into the other lane. No one believed him (and both he and the passenger survived).
Fast forward - the passenger is involved in another accident that killed his mother. He admitted that he grabbed the wheel and swerved the car into oncoming traffic. He then confesses to doing the same thing in wreck number one.
