I don’t give a frick if you’re boning Jessica Alba and your wife is Hillary Clinton, if you’re first unborn baby is missing any human soul would be visibly and verbally upset.

ETA: okay maybe if it was Hillary.

He is way too guilty.
Why would you think he didn't do it?
There are plenty of senseless murders, so you can't just try to think he's innocent because of lack of substantial evidence.

You consistently have some of the worst takes on TD. That takes effort, considering the garbage on the Poli Board and TRant.

Please explain...

Cheating =/ Murder

You have no idea how anyone would react to a tragedy. In this guys case, since he was cheating, maybe he wasn’t upset they were gone?

Again you still need evidence that he committed a crime, not a story that sounds like it fits. There was no proof. Nothing else even investigated

I think the tapes proving he was cold and calculated was enough to remove “reasonable doubt.”

He had a motive, the time, and the means to do it.

I do agree that the prosecution’s case as a whole was very weak, but the jurors were left with the same thought I presented earlier. He’s either the dumbest/unluckiest man alive, or he’s a murderer. It’s easier for many to believe he’s a murderer based on that alone.

Lmao. The burden is on the prosecution to prove murder...

You know, in America you are innocent until proven guilty

So yes, the fact that there is a substantial lack of evidence is exactly what leads me to believe innocence

It's pretty obvious he didn't care about his wife and unborn child. That makes him a piece of shite, not a murderer.

It certainly answers the question everyone has to start by asking, though, which is whether or not he was capable. If you’re going to murder someone, you’ve gotta start by not giving a shite about their life. If you’re going to murder your family, that level of don’t give a shite has to be a lot higher. He definitely checked that box. The rest of the conclusions are easier to reach once that first one is met, IMO.

Did he not appeal? Seems like if the trial was so emotional for the jury a quiet appeal would have worked. So either he hasn't or it failed, should tell you all you need to know.

Peterson absolutely killed her

Also

There is absolutely no evidence to truly convict him

Both are true, and the American justice system failed

Yeah you might want to do some more researching. I know this case front and back. I've read, watched/listen to every source possible. He's 100% guilty.

When a husband's wife is murdered and no one else is ever caught it's pretty obvious who did it.

Why sure it is a burden to prove guilt.
But my point is there are probably more murders than not that just simply don't have a real reason, or sensible reason, that the murder was done.
So you can't just forget about Scott based on that.
He had enough evidence, primarily finding the body in the very place he was claiming he was just "fishing".
Don't try to claim he was set up by the real criminal by placing her body in the water after finding out his alibi. If there was another murderer they would have dumped her body elsewhere long before it was public knowledge of Scott's exact fishing location alibi.

Thats the whole point of my post. Because someone is “capable” of being a murderer or
they lack emotions, they to deserve to be thrown in prison without evidence of actually committing the crime?

The original sentence was for the death penalty. I can’t fathom voting guilty on a death penalty sentence without overwhelming evidence

Isn't there two different Petersons who were suspects in killing their wife and it became a national story, I had to google it, but the one I am thinking about.. He was a cop.

Maybe a large body of water is just a good place to dump a body

Seems like it very easily could be a coincidence

I’m also not advocating I personally believe his is Innocent. I just don’t think he should be in jail. And it’s frightening, based on the lack of evidence, 12 people voted guilty
