I hate USPS...be careful TD baws sending stuff Holiday season

Just had an Amazon gift card stolen from me. Filed a claim with the postmaster which was a waste of time. She essentially victim shamed me here on the outskirts of Baton Rouge. She said USPS hires a ton of new workers this time of the year and anything that looks like a birthday card or something that will contain a gift card will almost certainly get stolen right there in Baton Rouge. But she acknowledged they shouldn't have delivered it to me since it's clear a finger was run across the top (not a machine) to steal the enclosed gift card. Said it should have been marked as damaged but USPS has no way of really self governing themselves anyway, corrective action etc.

If this PSA helps just one baw here in the next month then I at least feel somewhat better.
